It's funny how whenever we lose a big game it's all down to us being so-called bottlers.

Yet when we win a big game it's all down to the ref being on our side. So bile filled,jealous and bitter some are.

Yes, the Salford Fans were excellent had a pint of Guiness with them after the game at Salford Quays they thought it was one game too far for them as it took them 25 mins to get into the Saints 25 metre and used up too much energy.

Showed them the postings on here from the green eyed cyclops posters mostly wire fans, the Salford Fans said that VT should be renamed the Virtual Tripe and had a good laugh at the meltdown of so called neutral fans.

On the ref we agreed the Dudson one was harsh there was a ball steal and a scrum that went our way. We mentioned the Percival try and the Salford Fans joked that Hicks would have disallowed that try by not going to the video ref.

The Salford players and fans have done their club proud over the last 4 weeks, hope they find decent replacements for Hastings, Jones and Bibby.

It was a fantastic occasion played in the right manner. No crowd trouble, no player trouble a genuine festival of rugby. Tries were hard earned and there were no easy barge overs. Salford were a credit to their side and had the first half gone on for 10 more minutes they may have got back into the game. You're kidding right? Kendal is and was awful last night. As a neutral I said to my Saints supporting mother in law that saints were done by some poor reffing in the CC final but ultimately they weren't good enough to win anyway, the same can be said for Salford last night.

And when a player has a ball stolen illegally = knock on? Or when a player catches ball but gets the ball stolen = knock on? Kendall was crap last night - no stubborn, narrow minded Saints fan can change that fact.

And you could say Saints would've still won had the incidents I mention went the proper way - but we'll never know. Still, they had a lot more going for them in the GF than went against them in the CC. Well done McManus.
