Yep. A few years back he used to focus on the stats a bit more and i preferred that. But now like you say he just says daft things while rarely being able to hide his Wigan bias.

By the way there’s nothing wrong with having someone on with a bias toward one team. I’m sure Carney wants Wigan to succeed just as much as Clarke and I’m sure Jon Wells wants Cas to succeed but you rarely get any hint of that in their analysis or observations.

Salford winning demonstrates how low the standard of SL is this season.

It’s not even rocket science, a decent coach, a smattering of talent, a bit of luck, a team that grafts and the people at the top doing the rest.

This shows along with London’s efforts that every new season is a fresh slate and anyone can win it, there are no make weights anymore, great for the game.
