| Huge well done to Salford, I think everyone in the world of rugby league will be a Salford fan next week apart from St Helens fans and that strange bloke on here, Joan or whatever he’s called.

| Quote JEAN CAPDOUZE="JEAN CAPDOUZE"This is truly a dark day for European rugby league when a club that has less than 3,000 fans, based in an obscure location outside Manchester, can defeat a renowned, popular powerhouse like Wigan.
I have no doubt that the absence of Wigan's indefatigable French international prop Romain Navarette affected the result. The absence of experienced centre Daniel Sarginson might also have been relevant.
On the other hand without the NRL experienced Antipodean imports Jackson Hastings, Tuimoala Lolohea, Krisnan Inu and Kenneth Sio, the Salford Red Devils would have been languishing in last place in Super League, and would have been ripe for relegation.'"
Ok Mr Click Bait.
How do you think that those clubs at the top of the league gained their "superior" followings.
Do you think that it may have been by having some on field success or is it because they are just great clubs that play a superior brand of RL
There were almost as many Salford fans at last nights game as fans of the mighty Wigan ??
How on earth do you explain that

That's impossible. Salford has 3,000 fans tops, and only when the team is winning. There were nearly 10,000 fans at the ground. This would mean that Wigan had more than twice as many fans as Salford present.

| Great game last night, and Salford fully deserve to be where they are. Much as I'd enjoy seeing Saints end up looking like the biggest bottlers of all time though, I admit I want them to win next week. I'm a bitter Wire and don't want some team coming out of nowhere and winning the Grand Final before us. I supported Leeds V Cas for the same reason. At least I'm honest.

What is your source for the claim that Salford sold over 3,700 tickets in advance? A guy you met at the pub?
Salford cannot even draw 3,700 for home games, so why would anybody imagine that 3,700 fans living on a tight budget would travel all the way to Wigan with no prepaid season ticket covering the price?
And why would you imagine that a further 800 would buy on walk up?
This sounds to me that you have a bad case of post-victory delirium.

| Will people please stop quoting the False Frog, when you are replying to his trolling garbage. I have blocked him but his nonsense keeps appearing second hand.
It beggars belief that he is still allowed to taint the Forum with his faux opinions that are posted to aggravate, annoy and insult.
No more quotes please.

| So the GF feeds interest to a wider audience than a nobody gives a **** wigan saints final.
I'd say that's a big win for RL tbh.

How big is the away end at Wigan? It looked pretty full with Salford fans.
