It’s JJB that needs binning. If he’s says resilience once more I’ll cancel my TV licence.
Oh yeah, that’s not possible, but never has anyone been so dim and annoying with a voice that sounds like he’s got a couple of socks stuffed in his mouth.
Rant over'"
You've never heard Dennis Betts then
If RL wants to attract a new audience through it's TV coverage, we could do with pundits that are both well spoken and knowledgeable or, perhaps go with Aussie or KIwis.
I know that we have a Northern based sport but, to those outside the M62 corridor and especially those in the South, JJB and Peacock do nothing to change peoples perception of the game and much as I think they are ok their presence in the studio is akin to having Eddie Waring doing all of the commentary.
Great knowledge but just "too northern"
We keep on hearing how we must expand the game and attract new audiences but, while ever we stick with this format, it just isnt going to happen.
Having said that, for those of us who live in the heartlands and enjoy the game, Saturdays coverage was excellent, form the Women's final , which was a tight encounter, the Wire v Hull game which again, was close and a decent watch, to the plucky fight of Halifax, who, although never looked like scoring, battled till the end against Saints.
