My read of it is that SL wants to expand to 14 clubs, but was restricted by the current TV deal and not wanting to dilute the money to more clubs. I agree I'd like to see expansion to 14 at the next TV deal

| I imagine Fred won't want the details sharing as he sponsors a number of sports and releasing details could potentially cause him problems if other sports start demanding whatever he has paid us.

icons1949_files/4193-180guyguyme2003-msnicons.gif The fans, the members, the people there.. from the day I stepped foot onto that field at the AJ Bell Stadium,I knew I would love that club for the rest of my life. "Jackson Hastings"..

| Scrap that Multi Millioaire tag I've never really looked into his wealth before but it's safe to say he is a bilionaire. And interestingly whilst "Rugby League Fan" Done has never helped us out with a single dime the second richest dude in the region John Wittaker the Chairman of "Peel Holdings" joint owners of Salford's stadium with Salford City Council has also helped with not one dime.
Their choice of co but don't give me that "Rugby League Fan" BULLS*IT !!
These are the richest people in Greater Manchester and Cheshire
2. John Whittaker (property mogul)
Worth: £2.25bn
3. Fred and Peter Done (betting tycoons)
Worth: £1.35bn

Annoying isn’t it. Trinity have similar issues though ours are not billionaires to be fair. They all talk the talk but it took a bloke from Hull to walk the walk.

| Not pouring their money into a club doesn’t mean they aren’t a fan or don’t care but at the end of the day they’re business men and will judge it with their heads as much as their hearts. Steve Parkin is a huge Leeds Utd fan, has a box at Elland Road and goes to most games when he can, worth over £100m but has resisted calls from fans over the years to bid for Leeds when they’ve been going through their various ownerships because he said owning a football club is a bad investment.

Did not say it would pay entirely for 2 more teams, but its a step toward that especially if we can get a deal from Sky to fund 2 more teams. Sadly some chairman if we do get an increase will want to keep the extra for them selves.
