Shitty end of the stick there video ref is pointless

Yep. I can totally understand the on-field ref giving it. But what’s the point of the VR? It’s a clear knock on.

So, so unfair on Salford who put on a fabulous show really taking it to Saints...

They didn’t deserve to win in my opinion but you can’t fault Saints either because champion sides find a way to win and that’s what they’ve done!

The video refs make mistakes but never seem to ever have to face the consequences of their bad decisions.

That’s not a reason for doing away with the VR though, we just need the VR’s to actually make the right decision.

Yeah, I thought he wasn't going to give it because he was pausing it on the moment he lost it and the ball rolled up his forearm.

As a neutral the game was a really good watch but a few of Salford's calls once they went up weren't the best and they didn't play like they were in front with a 2 score lead and less than 15 minutes left. That short kick off and the Griffin flop were really costly for them, tries came off the back of each mistake, when they appeared to be in control of that game. Saints got a sniff and were all over them after that. If I was a Salford fan I'd feel robbed though after that R ref call.

Need to bin off the ref having to make a call on field for me. Reckon that would have been rightly disallowed if the ref didn't send it up as a try. If the ref needs to check then he's not 100% sure, so how can you get him to make a decision on something as important as a try when he isn't sure.
Also cant believe he actually checked the grounding when Swift tried diving for the corner. Embarrassment that neither him or the touchie could 100% say that he dropped it.

Scrap the Video Ref they are deciding where the points go too often and they are ignoring what they are seeing based on the call of the on field ref.

If the VR I’d competent he shouldn’t need a clue. They are ignoring what actually happens. This one could have been called off for either a knock on or double movement.

Awesome game for sure but Salford can definitely feel hard done by. That video ref made a very bad decision.
