| Quote mrpurfect="mrpurfect"Just the kind of news you want going into new TV deal negotiations'"
I think T.V executives are not naive enough to realise that Hull V Hull KR, and Wigan V Saints playing on the same day bloats these figures massivley, lets not kid ourselves that there were thousands of new fans attending, or that the respective home teams will get anywhere near the figures quoted in their next fixture.
2000+ at London is laughable, they only have 900 season ticket holders, Catalan bring ziltch, so they miraculously had 1100 new fans attending.
You can manipulate figures all day long, having watched Hull City at the KCOM for years and having a fairly good head for attendance numbers, can anyone explain how there were over 5000 empty seats at the KCOM?
The full East Stand hold 5000 so you work it out? The stadium didn't appear to have 5000 empty seats, not by far.

Whether the figure is "enhanced" or not, this is positive news.
Maybe a broncos fan can tell us whether they had a "decent" crowd down there.
Tbf, the crowd down there isn't going to break any attendance figures but, Hull, Warrington, Wigan, Leeds plus Cas on Thursday would all pull decent numbers.

| Interesting statistic, and I'm surprised. Some good news for a change which, hopefully, can be built on.

| I think London gave out a lot of free tickets to schools for the Catalans game.
Overall, nice bit of news for the sport though.

| Quote rollin thunder="rollin thunder"Very good news, a bit supprised really, was commenting at the game yesterday, a Leeds Bradford game would get 20k + but only 13k against Huddersfield, ok capacity reduced at moment but would be house full if we played Bradford, Cas, or even Wakey. Very poor away support from Huddersfield on a great day weatherwise, (not a dig)'"
huddersfield sold out their allocation of tickets .. 1000 plus went to leeds. nut huge no but more than 50 what everyone seems to think we take.
sold out the 500 ticket allocation other week too for wildcats game

| Western terrace holds about 4k doesn't it ? Granted there are some home fans in there, the "allocation" in rugby league rarely means much as there's near enough always pay on the gate available.

Great Achievement, specially give that London were at Home and an average of 15,404 for the other 5 games is pretty special. It's also dragged the season average back up to over 8,400,when it was languishing at 7,250 before......we need these 80,000 fans back every weekend!!!!

| Had Catalans been at home that day, we'd have had an even better figure to use.
If we could ever get Bradford back in the league alongside Toronto and Toulouse, you could one day have a round like:
Leeds vs Bradford - 20k+
Hull FC vs Hull KR - 20k+
Wigan vs St Helens - 20k+
Toulouse vs Catalans - 18k+
Warrington vs AN other - 10k+
Toronto vs AN other - 8k+
