| If Wire click fully (not happened yet this year) and play as well as we have seen glimpses of (which i am sure they will be looking for some retribution for the challenge cup last year) then Wire by at least 18 - 20, if not clicking fully then wire by at least 16 - 18 points  |

Catalan did win over Warrington in Perpignan, as did Toulouse win over Bradford at Bradford. It was a weekend of French success. That is why there is so much bleating from the cheap seats. |

It was a great weekend for the expansion clubs.
Next weekend will be much tougher for London to win at St Helens, but Catalans at home against Salford and Toulouse at home against Toronto are reasonable prospects for French victories.

He'll need an extra box of mansize tissues this weekend when Tremendous Toulouse host Titanic Toronto in a dress rehearsal for the Grand Final come October.
Still, he'll be posting less of this drivel in a week or so's time as his beloved Sharkies travel up the coast to Newcastle on the 15th and he'll no doubt be there.....isn't that right Bazza

HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
