Quote: AS108 "This whole ‘let’s moan everytime Saints get a dubious decision’ is mind blowingly boring. It is just about impossible for any referee to get every decision right and generally the team who are on the front foot and dominating will get the majority of incorrect decisions to their way. You also fail to mention that Peyroux had a penalty go against him in the first half even though Hastings had hold of him first. Saints won because they were by far the better team, get over it. That isn’t just aimed at you, it’s aimed at about half of Leeds also.'"
To be honest, as a neutral the team didn’t really matter. If Salford had scored two tries from clearly incorrect decisions, I’d have said the same thing. My point was that whilst decisions do tend to even themselves out, and Salford may have has have some dubious penalties go in their favourtoo, the ones that went against them were costly and obviously incorrect.
Given I wrote the post at half time, I’m not quite sure how I need to “get over” Saints winning, as they hadn’t at the time.
