This has happened numerous times by numerous clubs in the past, including Leeds in the last few years. Or is this just the recent anti-Cas sentiment that has crept in by fans of the "big clubs" on here over the last few years?
Just like there was a huge problem with Wells working for Sky but not McDermott, Carney and O'Connor when they worked/work for SL clubs...

Well - not in theory you deregister them as a player, not as an employee. They still get paid by the club and are under contract to the club, they just can't play until they get registered.
Or do you also think the players that don't get registered to the 23 man squad in Football are free to walk away from a contract too?
