Quote: Ruune Rebellion "Rugby union is loved all around the world. Rugby league is loved in the north of England and south east of Australia. The sooner people stop falling for the “greatest game” rubbish the sooner we can start rebuilding the game because it isn’t. It’s a pale imitation of what it used to be. Wheras rugby union has become easily the more skilful code'"
Utterly laughable to sugest Union is a more skillfull code, and as for it being loved the world over, yes it has a better spread than League, but it is still only a niche market in a few pockets around the world, ice hockey, field hockey, basketball, cricket, baseball, all have a bigger world wide presence, ice hockey second only to football across central europe scandinavia and eastern europe. Only in New zealand is union the number one sport, an insignificant island of 10 million people’s just off Antarctica.
