Rovers fans get excited over nothing, I suppose after 30 plus years of no major trophy it's the best they can hope for.

Considering Pearson knows nothing about RL, he seems to be doing a decent job and has achieved more than most other SL owners in a short time.

I pretty sure he cares about Hull and RL, otherwise I'd doubt he would invest his money, he is hardly likely to earn money from owning a RL club is he.

Pearson should’ve done that first time around instead of replying. On this article neither he, Redford or any of the Hull players should comment on it publicly. Just stick that list up in the dressing room all year long and challenge the players to prove him wrong and show him up.

Any article written about Hull by Schofield, and likewise any criticism of Schofield from Hull fans, have to be taken with a pinch of salt. This feud goes back 30 odd years. Of course there are some fair points made, some utter horses***, and the usual heavy dose of bitterness. I'll try offer my opinion on his opinionsNo top player signings / poor retentions - fair, my personal opinion is that Hull thought it'd be way more difficult to recruit from the NRL than it actually has been, and retained a couple of players too early.

2) - Style of Play - just a bitter opinion really, Kelly & Connor are fantastic to watch.

3) - Jamie Shaul not progressed and way off an England shirt - Codswallop, I thought last year he did improve, especially in his positioning and handling, and of course he did earn an England call up.

4) - Wingers don't get service without Sneyd, Fonua not adequately replaced - Codswallop. Faraimo 17 tries, Talanoa 14. Sneyd didn't play many games. Fonua got 14 & 11 in his two seasons (with a fit Sneyd).

5) - Sneyd is crap - Codswallop, double Lance Todd winner. We really missed him most of this season.

6) - Not much pace in team - Fair point, I'd agree.

7) - Too many bang average forwards - Fair to a degree. This is where I'd have made changes if I were Pearson. Watts not replaced. Bowden, Manu & Westerman barely played in 2018 all to come back.

- Fair to a degree. Houghton had a quiet one by his standards last season. Litten to get more game time in 2019.

9) - No depth - Codswallop. We've signed an additional 6 squad players for 2019 to mitigate against the issues we had in 2018.

10) - Nasty, toxic atmosphere - Codswallop. I've seen nothing come out of the club to suggest this, bad attitudes stemming from poor form and nothing to play for at the back end of the year, certainly.

There were some rather nasty allegations made in the previous attempt which were almost the subject of legal proceedings being taken against the site. Now unless you're going to fund any legal proceedings against the site I'm not going to take the risk of those false accusations being made on here again.

I'm also aware it's being discussed elsewhere but there's no threat to the site on that particular thread at the moment.
