Tomkins adds nothing in the halves for me, Tomkins at Fullback with Connor and Williams in the halves

I agree, Bennett obviously doesn’t fancy him.

I like Percival but thought he was a liability in defence vs France. Too much of a tendency to grab high. Do that against NZ and they'll go through every time.

That said, I hate the tendency to select players out of position for England/GB. A centre should be at centre.

Who will link with Whitehead? IMO I think he's the player to watch

Gildart is better defensively

Very light weight three quarter line that. We are really relying on our pack to win the battle or this could be a long night imo if the kiwis are at it.

Connor's a better player than gildart or percival. I reckon he may get switched to half back at some point

Tomkins has been put in the halves to run the games and take us around the field. This isn’t the kid who’d play with a ball of his own years ago, he’s developed in to an organiser and a game manager. He’s had to do that because injuries have taken his pace and he’s been superb in the role for us this season. He may have been playing at full back for Wigan most of the time but he was pulling the strings at all times for us regardless of position.

I’m not down on the line up at all. I think it’s attacking and well balanced and will cause the Kiwis plenty of problems.

Looks like Bennett is lining him up on Manu's side, not a bad idea to let him loose and get under Manu/Rapanas skin rapana especially might go a bit mad if Connor is giving him some
