| Not Toronto.
Hopefully this season will stand them in good stead and they'll be contenders for promotion in 2019.

My preferred outcome at the end of the Middle 8s would be:
1. Leeds
2. Hull KR
3. Toronto
4. Toulouse
5. London
6. Salford
7. Widnes
8. Halifax
But unfortunately that result will not happen because Salford have signed Jackson Hastings, who has turned their performances around the same way that Catalans signing Joshua Drinkwater turned Catalans performances around.
Hastings wont be playing for next 2 maybe 3 weeks. Bad one that, malicious.

| Toronto player sin binned for dangerous tackle.
Salford player sent off for a high shot.
Where's the consistency.

| There were four cards.
Tasi was sin binned for a high shot, I thought that was just a penalty
Burgess was sent off for a high shot, I thought that was just a Sin Bin
Stanley was sin binned for a dangerous lift, I thought that was just a penalty
Hastings was sent off for a head shot, correct decision should be a few games’ ban for him

Tasi might have stayed on the pitch if Obrien had the ball. The fact he got him high and off the ball was probably worth the yellow.
I'd say both reds were correct but I agree about the Stanley yellow. His legs were lifted but I still didn't think there was that much in it. Suppose if those have been carded in the past though they need to stay consistent.

| I thought Salford were better in every position. Sidlow had a good few runs off the bench but other than that Toronto looked like a Championship outfit in tactics, personnel and execution. Salford had XIII men for about 38 minutes of that game and Toronto did next to nothing, they had about four good sets early in the second half and that was it for 80minutes.

Toronto will still gain promotion this year, when that happens, you Leigh fans will have the biggest dummy spit ever seen on RLfans.

| Well, from one Leigh fan who is truly opposed to North American teams in our league, my take is that, if Toronto finish in one of those top four spots, (and win the £1 m game) then they have to be promoted.
They were set the task of progressing through the Championship leagues and they have done/are doing that. It would be the ultimate act of hypocrisy, on the part of the RFL and/or clubs, to deny them their rightful place in the 'promised land'.
