Agree here, always seen him as more of a second rower.

| Quote Nothus="Nothus"Bateman runs with his head down and cuts inside far too much and the NRL coaches will pick up on that immediately I reckon. However, it can quite easily be coached out of his game and pretty much all other aspects of his game are decent.
If I was worried about anything holding him back over there it's his temperament and increased media scrutiny.'"
Bateman is an older style second row, not the biggest or quickest, but makes up for it with aggression and toughness, more in the karl Fairbank, Paul Dixon mould. You can’t coach that. He will rattle a few cages in NRl and will go well.

Karl Fairbank was a big player by the standards of the time, way bigger than Bateman in relative terms.

| Drinkwater confirms Catalans exit
Josh Drinkwater will leave Catalans Dragons at the end of the season after what he describes as a six-moth rollercoaster ride in France, report League Express.
The Dragons signed Drinkwater in April on a deal until the end of the season and has impressed since his arrival. However, Catalans have agreed a deal with Matty Smith for 2019 and there will be no place for Drinkwater in Perpignan. He told League Express: “I don’t think I’ll be staying here. For one reason or another, things haven’t worked out so I’ll be moving on.”
How nice of Catalans.....

| TBF they can't exactly say to Matty Smith "hang on, we've changed our minds".
