And if I said we were awesome you’d have a point but you’ve just read what you’ve wanted to read. It was a reply to someone saying it was a close game and adding a “if only” then it’d be closer sceneario.
You are right that the biggest tests start now for us and you might well win. If I’d have said opposite to that and claimed we were awesome your reply to what I wrote might make sense. |

I was at the game and it was well attended but not morel than 2,500 there is my guesstimate. I expect the record gate for the ground will be smashed in 2 weeks time when the union lot host London Irish...but I reckon that was the best gate for a league match featuring the Broncos since we went down..... |

HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
