Speaking of fiction, which you were, I can't even fathom how you cobbled this together. The beer garden is inside Lamport stadium. You enter the stadium on the east side with a ticket for either the east or west stand, and your ticket is scanned at the gate. Once inside, you are free to wander round and find a seat. The beer garden is between the east and west sides - you walk through it to get to the west stand. You buy drink tokens which are good for any of the beer/wine vendors. It is only a "free entry event" if you're already in the grounds. You can then, quite effortlessly, enjoy a drink and watch the game at the same time, especially if you turn round and face the pitch.

It's CAD$25 for the east stand, same as last year, and CAD$30 for the west stand, $5 more than last year. There are half price tickets for kids and seniors.

Air Transat is bringing over most of the away fans. Recent clubs (and shout out to Swinton) have brought anywhere from 100-250 away fans, so Transat probably isn't "whingeing" so much as they are "rubbing their hands with glee".

Recent source other than the Parksider loop, please.

Oh yes indeed, a fresh Sky audience is all over this one. Pro-tip: the tv cameras set up on the west stand, and so mostly show the crowd in the east stand, which is the smaller crowd. Nevertheless, still a bigger crowd than any of the other qualifiers this weekend.
That clunking you hear isn't the sound of any wheels falling off. It's the conspiracy theory jealousy machine going into overdrive with a bent crankshaft.
