I agree. But the positional changes that I mentioned in my previous post are necessary for Catalans to up the tempo.
Catalans will surely lose to St Helens next Thursday night. But they have to, and can, draw even with current 8th Salford by beating them away as well as at home. Catalans then have to beat one other top 8 team, and hope that Widnes, Hull KR and Huddersfield keep losing to top 8 teams, in order for Catalans to make the top 8. This scenario was looking highly unlikely before today, but the benefits brought by Joshua Drinkwater (both his general play and his goal kicking) give Catalans at least [ia chance[/i of making the top 8.
