What's happening with Greg Mcnally?
Not named in Leighs squad but I hadn't seen any news of his release, cue the comments of 'this is a SL thread'...

I believe that he's one of the Leigh players that's had his contract cancelled.

David Mead is the biggest star signing to come to Super League in 2018. 70 tries in 159 NRL appearances.

So why is he here then - you have to ask when big name players leave the doller rich NRL - what's wrong with him?

It's strange as he signed a contract extension in April as well.

Brisbane has some good 3/4s though - Kahu, Oates (although he's crocked and will probably move into the forwards), Roberts, Moga and Boyd and he's older than them all except Boyd.

Suspect they want to use his salary for a signing in another position. Apparently they want Walmsley but won't happen until 2019.
