As of 2018 you can only view it on a tablet or phone (previously you could get it on a PC or laptop)

That seems very restrictive considering its a streaming service.

Cancelled my premier sports, hoping sky sports pick up the NRL, you’d have thought it would be good value for them, I doubt the UK rights cost much.

I have emailed to tell them to cancel my subscription when the current one ends.

Then when they auto renew I have backup to get my money back.

Well done you I never even thought about the NRL deal ending when I renewed my annual subscription last month.

It is possible they will still have the Toronto games.

And the NRL deal still for the UK is still in the air, certainly for us punters anyhow so you never know.

Hi just as an update I have phoned Premier this morning and they confirmed they have lost the rights. So I said I signed up to watch the NRL only, they first off offered me Toronto (after last season I would rather stick pins in my eyes) I politely refused, so they said they will not renew my subscription NEXT YEAR, I was less polite not rude but I made it clear I wanted my money back. After consulting with a supervisor they said they would charge me in January but are cutting me off instantly, I was going to argue that I should be allowed use until my payment period ends but as there is nothing else of interest to me on premier I let it go.

At present my Premier player has gone already but the TV is still operational.

So in summary I am supposed to be getting around half my money back in around 28 days.

If Sky get the rights I really can't see them broadcasting every single match like Premier used to do.
Frustrating as I would quite like to see how Toronto go next season but I'm not sure it's worth the subscription just for that alone.
