All our forwards take a bow, Gale and Brown when it came to it simply weren't good enough, Burgess showed again what we all know he'll drop it too often.
Put SoL in that match and we win, put Taylor and Tomkins in there and we win not quite at a canter but that's as good a chance as we'll get but we now know we can beat them but not with Gale and Brown

Lack of attacking intelligence cost us. Zak Hardaker has a lot to answer for. Gale had a great game, but his decision making in the Aussie 20 was way off the required standard.
But it was a great game, and a great way to end the tournament.

Absolutely amazing performance from everyone, defence and effort was outstanding. Problem was our decision-making on Australia's line, and error rate. Poor.

And yet again, more proof why NEUTRAL REFEREES are a must. He hammered us all game. I've said it many times, even if they try to be neutral, unconscious bias is impossible to avoid. Swing the possession he handed to Australia back to us and we're in that game.
