As someone with more money than sense (if only) I'll try and answer your question. I'm travelling independently and have been over here since just before the Auckland semi.

Unlike 2008 the groups of England fans seem to be spread out. At Auckland the groups were nowhere near each other and the rest of us who had bought tickets from the website were all round the stadium. I suspect there were quite a lot of us but we were lost amongst the Tongans. However there was quite a bit of noise when we scored.

That's a long-winded way of saying there is no place you can guarantee being with the English fans. That said I was sat with Aussies for the 2008 final and they were fine despite me shouting for the kiwis.

Thanks Walter, went for west stand as nothing obvious. You can't take it with you and as the Cons won't get it for a long time it was a bucket list tick - Ashes series next
