Clearly the RFL have given up on London, even though there's been decent attendances at internationals in the capital, particularly when Stratford has been used.
Back to M62 parochialism, unless of course you're from the Americas.
Doesn't bode well for a good spread of matches around the country at the next RLWC.

London average 48k for the last 4 tests.....as has been said by others, if the RFL can fill Huddersfield and get 40K in London easily then they are probably right to mix it up..... |

Gutted no London game as was wanting to take a handful of people to the game but have bought 3 for the KCOM and booked 2 days off for a visit to the folks.

lets hope these tests next year are sell outs. if they are then the right choices. |

HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
