Quoteluke ShipleyRed="luke ShipleyRed"Well that was average. Good in parts, poor most of it. McGilvery was man of the match by a distanceven. Thought Widdop, Walmsley & Watkins played well. We again looked better when Roby was on, but you know that Hodgson is going to be starting next week.
Gale looked lost at times. as did Bateman (though to be fair playing him in the wrong position doesn't help). Other than that an average performances, with to many cheap errors. Doesn't exactly fill you with hope.
PNG looked average.'"
I think its a good Idea to start with Hodgson then bring Roby on it has worked every time they do it Roby comes on with fresh legs and you can still use Hodgson for other Positions
As a Huddersfield fan it's nice to see McGillvary getting the spotlight that he has deserved all his career. He has always been something special, but even i am impressed by how he continues to develop on the world stage. I can count on one hand the number of collisions he has lost over the years, and i've seen props and second rows try to monster him and come off second best every time. He's a local lad who has never wanted to fly from the nest, but he is wasted here at Huddersfield and his game has always suited the NRL style. For himself i would love for him to take a contract over there for the last few years of his career and seen as he still has 2 years left with us here we will make a tidy sum out of it too!

Hodgson has done nothing. Not had one decent game.
Quotebramleyrhino="bramleyrhino"I suppose Tomkins gets a free pass for kicking out on the full on our last set in that game, or George Burgess for the brain-dead penalty that gave NZ field position (both signs of not being ready for a final)?
You win as a team, and all that.....'"
Sure you lose as a team but he mentioned losing it at the death which was a direct consequence of his error, he could simply said we lost it at the death because of a single error I made at the time, that's the difference only one error can make not 18.
At that moment 'at the death' the only error that made the difference AT THAT TIME which is what he referenced to, was his error and his alone that cost us.
HTH.
but no where near good enough with so many errors and poor completion rate, thats going to have to improve massively to beat the aussies in the final if all goes to plan
mcgillvary , walmsley and roby are way ahead of the rest of the team in performances.
go into the semi final still not knowing our best full back and halves combination
going to be a cracking atmosphere next saturday!!! will be full of tongans, cant imagine many england fans being in auckland?!
