Quote: Trainman "I'm with you on Dublin, it would be a great shout. Although Barcelona would be a good weekend for those who can afford to go I don't see how it would benefit RL.
The concept of the Magic weekend relies on the stadium. It needs to have spare capacity to allow for the unreserved seating and it needs to have the space around it for all the extras that go with it. The Ethiad is perfect for tha, the Olympic stadium in London would also be a good fit.'"
some pics popped up on my timehop on facebook this morning, from 2012 at the etihad, the years we were there is was sunny and fun, and i've got nothing but happy memories of being there, it was brilliant, with newcastle, it felt like i was going to a place to watch something, and be seperated out.
Maybe its the factor of a bowled stadium versus a traditional one which has been built up and in sections, the first year i felt totally seperated from the other wire fans, last year was a bit better, this year i(and our 6/7 away day party) didn't bother going, we didn't want to. And its not just distance either as we all went to cardiff and edinburgh(scotland being next best venue for mine)
