Despicable action but does the players nationality need to be brought into it?
The title of this thread could have been worded better. Something like - Disgusting: Rugby League Player knocks out Referee in France. I will probably get called a snowflake or politically correct for this one..

People seem not to have noticed that the referee is Benjamin Casty, the brother of Catalans Dragons' famous captain Remi Casty. That makes the whole thing even more troubling.

Disgraceful from the player. He should never play the greatest game of all ever again. We have all had a go at the ref from the stands but not one rugby league fan will have enjoyed watching that video. I would imagine the player who attacked the ref will be more worried about the legal ramifications rather than never playing again.
