| All three Burgess brothers at Souths need to step up. George and Tom look leaden-footed far too often, not to mention absolutely horrendous ball control. The first could be helped by losing a few kilos- neither busts the line much anyway so I don't think they'd lose a lot.
Sam is working hard but just looks way down on the player he was before he left for RU. He isn't bending the line with every carry, which he was before, so he's not attracting defenders in the same way. Not sure what he needs to do TBH, but I had hoped for England's sake we'd see the pre RU Sam Burgess this year.

| Daniel Sarginson has been a very unlucky boy. He deserves better than a broken arm.
Without Englishman Joseph Greenwood, I doubt that the Titans could have beaten the competition leaders.
Now all we need is a couple more English backs in the NRL and the convict people will start to take English rugby league seriously.

| Because of course, being taken seriously by the Aussies is so much more important than the strength of our own comp... ![Rolling Eyes icon_rolleyes.gif](images/smilies//icon_rolleyes.gif)

| Joseph Wardle scored a great try for Newcastle. Commentator Andrew Voss spoke of a [icheer from Huddersfield[/i, and then of how Wardle was a swap for Jake Mamo organised by Nathan Brown. This was great publicity for English players, the English game, and Super League. The convicts are being forced to treat English rugby league with more respect.

| A stellar performance from Gareth Widdop in the Dragons win over Manly.
A dink to the corner for a try.
A cross-field kick for a try.
A feign to kick then short pass for a try.
An interception try.
A 40/20.
8/9 converted with the boot in his 20 point haul.

| Gareth Widdop last weekend ensured that he will be in the England starting lineup for the World Cup -- if he can stay uninjured until then.
