You're wrong there. Hull fans were lining the pitch at end of game as they thought they had won so they were about to invade their own pitch. Salford ended up winning and ran on pitch and hull fans who were at the edge already, then entered and scuffles began. Wonder if hudge would criticise his own fans if they would have run on first (like they were planning to do before drama at end)

Why was it always going to kick off after that? Kr fans didn't have to react to the goading, like hudds fans didn't the week before, like Leeds fans didn't when FC trashed hudds ground, like cas fans didn't when Widnes invaded the pitch... plenty of instances where opposition fans don't react ( Im only mentioning ones I have personal experience of)

I doubt there was as much riding on them games and due to the ending I'm not saying it's right at all but emotions take over and a few fans ended up fighting thousands didn't

Well there was quite a lot riding on the week before- cause that's the game that Landed KR in the MPG to start with! The Leeds /hull game was a semi final so a lot riding there.
All clubs have idiots. They all have fans who behave in embarrassing ways. But there's a difference between the odd numpty and a whole bunch.

The sad thing is those that have caused this probably won't hesitate to behave badly again- the only losers are the clubs they claim to "support"

The game the week before both clubs knew they had another bite of the cherry the thing is if the Salford fans hadn't entered the pitch the rovers fans wouldn't have done but at the end of the day they did and both clubs were fined and rightly so
