Leigh have always travelled well, irrespective of division or position. I can see 1500-2000 travelling to Cas.

St Helens, Widnes, Wigan, Salford and Wire will all greatly benefit. It could well offset the support of HKR, but they will be a huge miss because they too travel well.

I see Wigan highest attendance last season was 20k v Saints. The 20k may have been surpassed if it wasn't on Sky v Leigh

Leigh are on at least 13 times next season. I think that will reduce Leighs average considerably as i would expect the Wigan / Wire and saints games being near sell outs. Would be intersting to see the figures should Leigh get off to a half decent start.

The championship is a great division, and attendances should see a huge boost next year with HKRs introduction.

Aw come on. Especially if they're after the 11 home games.

I posted on the Wakefield board that we were the lowest attendance for Wigan and Hull but third highest for Cas.
We posted an improvement but we are starting from such a small position that improvement still leaves us low down.
We are of course limited and helped by our stadium.
We have a massive atmosphere when we have 7k because it's near capacity whereas Huddersfield or Hull could close three stands for that many, yet Hull (as an example) have massive crowds compared to ours, partly because the stadium is so much better and a nicer place to watch sport

So what was the average attendance of the super league clubs after they'd all played 11 home fixtures.

That may be partly your own fault. For the first game of last season Cas sold out their allocation of tickets, quite a lot of us managed to buy tickets direct from HKR and sat with your fans. The ground was no where near full so I can't understand why Cas weren't allowed more tickets.

Is it the same for all visiting teams?
