No need to thank me.
Just my opinion on a player who has not failed to disappoint over the last 2 seasons.
Forgive me, I didn't realise the Wakey victim mentality is still so strong.

| Catalans Dragons will definitely be top 8 once again. However with the Australian representative backrower Gregory Bird back, and supported by fearless Kiwi prop Samuel Moa and a fit and sizzling centre Krisnan Inu, they should challenge for the top 4.
I expect the Catalans to annihilate most teams, and to be highly competitive with the likes of Warrington and Wigan (my prediction is assuming the fitness for the bulk of the season of stars Gregory Bird and Krisnan Inu).

Prepare to be disappointed. Catalans should finish top 8, but the current coach is not good enough and with an inferior squad to this year i see no better than 6th or 7th.

Here we go again! The usual 'Catalans are going to do this, that and the other'. I thing GREG Bird will make a difference, but it will be the same old with Catalans until they realise that Frayssinous isn't up to the job and get a decent coach in place.

Greg Bird is a fine player, as is Sam Moa. I've got a soft spot for the big man (as do most Hull fans) for his time here, and I was glad he did well in the NRL.
However Catalans problems aren't their playing roster imo.

| Quote vastman="vastman"Wakefield sign Huby from Hudds. I'm not surprised many are picking Wakey to finish bottom as it seems to ne the default setting for the lazy or moronic on here. However Wakefieds pack is shaping up to be one of the biggest and aggressive in SL espeicially if Allgood does sign as constant rumours suggest. Added to that probably one of the best signing from he NRL in Scrum Half Sam Williams has gone virtually unnoticed which tbh honest I'm fine with - should have a field day behind that pack.
Because most of you won't have bothered to check
David Fifita 6' 4" - 18 1/2 stone
Anthony England 6' 4" - 17 1/2 stone
Keegan Hirst 6' 4" - 18 stone
Craig Huby 6' 2" - 17 stone
Anthony Walker 6' - 16 1/2 stone
Danny Kirmond 6' 1"- 16 1/2 stone
Johnny Molloy 6' 2" - 16 1/2 stone
Tinirau Arona 5' 1" - 16 1/2 stone
Matty Ashurst 6' 2" - 16 1/2 stone
if he signs...
Mitch Allgood 6' 4" - 171/2 stone
Size isn't everything but I just thought I'd mention it. Unless we implode that pack should see us safely off the bottom 2-3 places I'd of hoped.'"
There are some big units in there for sure, but as you say size isn't everything.
Fifita looked a real handful last season. England and Huby are good solid front rowers. A couple of steps below top class, but good players. I really hope Keegan Hirst goes well, but this is his first time at the top table. It's a workmanlike back row with good size and mobility, but it lacks line breakers for me. Allgood is mediocre at best.
I genuinely mean it when I say there isn't a bad team in the competition, but I just can't make a better case for anyone else to finish bottom. If Brown leaves Widnes however then I might just retract that statement.
