| Quote SmokeyTA="SmokeyTA"Castleford who were immediately relegated, then promoted, then relegated again, then got a franchise but would have been relegated as they finished bottom and would have gone bust if not for a last minute gift from Uncle Jack
Huddersfield, promoted, finished bottom 3 years on the trot but weren't relegated because of the standard of the clubs winning the NFP. Merged, Then relegated
Hull FC Promoted, went bust and would have been relegated but rescued by merger.
Leigh promoted then immediately relegated after embarrassing themselves. spent a decade in the lower leagues, struggled financially and were saved from relegation to the lowest division by implosion at another club.
Salford promoted, relegated three years later, promoted again, relegated 4 years later, went bust, struggle and survive solely on the largess of Koukash
Widnes relegated, spent 5 years struggling, promoted, then relegated again, then went bust then promoted under franchising, built well.
Hull KR promoted, did no youth development, got a franchise. Relegated again.
Yeah that's erm... success?'"
We were in administration for 1 whole day, and copped a 9pt deduction for it.
Extremely harsh.

I think the RFL/Administrator accepting the offer of a man with no money is fairly blame-worthy don't you?

Being an fc fan at that time I dont recall fc going bust. We just wanted to lower our wage bill and play in the nfp. That was blocked the rest is another story

| Yet another nail in the coffin of the salary cap. How many clubs has it now claimed, whilst its proponents tell us it protects clubs from going bankrupt?
Seems its biggest selling point is a hoax.

| I'd like to know the absolute direct correlation between the salary cap, and Marc Green not having enough money to run Bradford Bulls.

| The salary cap isn't proof against going bust, it just curbs the worst cases
Clubs still have to accept they aren't rich enough to spend that much money, if anything it's an argument to say it's too high in the Championship

| Still feel sorry for some of the decent bulls fans who always had time for us back in their trophy laden days, however i still can't feel any sympathy for the tools who took great delight in us being crap and having no fans and not been worthy to be on the same pitch as the mighty bulls, or indeed the club itself, although i do have a degree of sympathy with people who work for the club.
But surely they have had enough chances now?
Let's hope they can sort themselves out again, finally,

If the cap was abolished all the woes of our game would be history - apparently.

| Not sure how the cap has anything to do with not paying your tax bill.
