If it goes to form, perhaps give Melbourne part two a miss. Still, the difficulty is that it is pretty difficult to book travel and accommodation for England's KO stage matches until after 27 October 2017.'"
There's a little bit on the RLWC site, but wasn;t easy to find
The RLIF has approved that if Australia qualifies for a Quarter Final, it will play in Darwin. If NZ qualifies for a Quarter Final, it will play in Wellington.
If Australia and NZ were to play each other in a Quarter Final or Semi-Final, whoever finishes higher in the pool stage will get the home advantage.
If Australia and NZ make the Semi-Finals they will play in Brisbane and Auckland respectively.
The full Quarter Final fixture will be finalised at the conclusion of the pool stage, taking in to consideration hosting requirements.
Basically, it looks like even if England do beat Australia, they'll still be playing at Melbourne in the QF.
