I've seen hundreds of pitch invasions without any trouble, it becomes an issue when the n0bber element in a fan base decide to goad the opposing fans. We (Salford) have a couple of small groups that are basically just d1ckheads. Scrotes that prefer to wind up away fans or abuse our players when we're playing badly. However, we're not the only club who has this issue, I'm not going to single out other clubs but I've seen first hand plenty of similar behaviour, including fans from both ends of the table. Every GF & Magic Weekend there are kick offs in the stands.
It's down to the clubs to identify the clowns and hand out serious bans and then to enforce them. I'd be majority p1ssed off if the RFL start dishing out point deductions, it's the individuals that should be punished, and harshly.'"
Agreed that the individuals should be banned, but the clubs have a responsibility for fan safely as well and should also see action taken. Some of the videos show some of the worst violence I've seen at an RL game from fans, and I watched in the 80s.
