| Well as a Hull fan, I'd quite enjoy seeing Hull KR lose the MPG, but the feeling would soon wear off. I'd miss the rivalry, and it would probably harm our finances since our biggest gate of the season will be gone. On the plus side it might see the joint academy idea get scrapped, but I'd rather they were still here than not. Even away from Hull, I think they bring more to the comp than the other two.
Of the three I think Salford would be the most vulnerable if they went down. I'm not sure how long they would survive. Whereas KR and Hudds have a little more stability, and would be capable of bouncing back. The last thing the sport needs is another club going under, so I hope Salford stay up.
So I guess that leaves Hudds. Nothing against them at all, I wouldn't enjoy seeing them relegated, but it's probably the lesser of three evils.

| The tension last year when we played Wakefield was incredible. All day you felt sick before the match then during it was awful.
So when you get two teams whose fan base is made up of a load of chavs like today - they are and they both have history for this. You were bound to get some disorder. It wasn't heysel or anything though. From the video I've seen most of them look like kids - who can't throw a punch properly.
Start both Salford and KR on minus 20 points next season or make them play in front of empty grounds that will nip it in the bud.

I was there last year and I've got to say that both fans and clubs (with the exception of Jimmy Lowes) remained respectful throughout the game and in the celebrating/commiserating afterwards

I agree. Thought the Bulls fans handled it really well last year and there was just general relief from the Wakefield crowd.

| "It's what happens with relegation and when all the funding in the top league is nowhere near the same in the second." Said Hull KR coach, James Webster.
Well, no s**t, Batman?
I wasn't bothered who won the MPG up to the point where the bleating from Hull KR started. They like all SL teams were happy to take the money for themselves but as soon as it doesn't suit them any more, we get this.
Championship teams have had to get by on scraps for years and SL was happy to let it happen.
For Hull KR it is simple...they have failed to win sufficient games to qualify for SL whereas other teams have.
It is sport and losers get nothing and now they know what that means.
Less than impressed by JP too.
