I cant believe any Nrl club would pay much for Hardaker, surely no one would be willing to pay anywhere near the 300K asking price. Tomkins was ripping teams apart before he went to the NRL and was pretty average over there. I dont rate Hardaker in the same class as Tomkins before his move.

I'd also add that unless Hardaker learns to pass properly he'll never be more than an average NRL full back. He'd do OK to start with because he's good defensively and a strong runner, but once opponents work out he rarely passes he'll become anonymous IMO.

He doesn't have too many weaknesses (when playing well), but that's by far the biggest.

Teams know that the chances of him chiming into the line & passing are so slim, combined with knowing that he'll probably get passed the ball most plays due to his willingness to get involved, which makes him quite easy to pick out and wrap up. He is a big strong runner, so will get the tackle busts, but number up and he's nullified.

He's still young, so plenty of time to add that to his game.

RL saved this guy from being detained at her majesty's pleasure, there are several more in the game who are in the same boat I would suggest.

Aku Uate from Newcastle Knights is fully fit and has been stood down for this week.
Rumours are he is about to join an ESL club before June 30.
Wouldn't surprize me if it's a straight swap.

Would be a great signing for Leeds.
