That's not true, I like Harrison and I played with his Dad. He's a hard, no nonsense, second-rower but he's no world beater.

Teams need the grafters like Hanson, and would I have him back at Salford now? Tough one. We have a better player in Murdoch-Massila but are light in the forwards. I'd have him back with the right attitude and for peanuts. But that would be the only reasons.

All I know is that whenever I see a thread about Leigh, reading the comments is like stepping back in time to RLFans in 2002.

Are Leigh disliked or did a few of their fans start up this weird "everyone's against us" campaign on here and in other social media on the back of the Gareth Hock signing and a couple of handbag fights and cheap shots against Featherstone when they were questioned by a few people? On every fifth thread for a couple of weeks on this site you'd see a Leigh fan (seemingly about the same half dozen) popping up where they hadn't been seen before saying "why do you hate Leigh?"...then it carries on this season. Bizarre! They've made it all up themselves and are carrying it on.

I feel sorry for the normal Leigh fans a lot of whom seemed decent at Wire last season when they came in the CCup. Yes they got a bit giddy when they were in the lead against the worst Wire side for six years singing "are you watching Super League?!" and then got easily beaten, but they were behind their team really well all game and were no bother outside the ground before or after that day.

But...does anyone really hate Leigh at all? or is it just a fabrication to get the Super League fans talking about them more?
