| Canada come from behind in the last five minutes to tie the game with Jamaica 18-18. A bit of escape for Canada who made a lot of errors uncharacteristically and made it difficult for themselves.
Jamaica ran hard with the championship players but couldn't close out the game.
It's all or nothing for the US and Canada on Saturday; a win for either side will see that team qualify.

| USA 34 - 24 Canada
Game was a 6 point game til the last seconds when USA scored.
USA qualifies for the WC.
It was a fantastic qualifying series, with 3 close games and 3 very competitive sides.
The rivalry between these 3 sides will drive improvement into the future, and hopefully all 3 sides can qualify next time.

| Disappointing result for Canada, but the USA played very well and deserved the win. Short turnaround and basic errors let us down in the end but a things considered Canada and Jamaica should be both be proud of the strides they have made so far. The fact that our Canadian side had the least Heritage players bodes well for us.
Hopefully the success of this series will open up English, Australian or New Zealand sides to tour North America and help us grow.

| The best part about Jamaica and Canada being so competitive is that touring teams are just a bonus now.
In the past it was crucial for sides to go to America from the big 3 to expose the American to a higher standard than their domestic comp could provide, but now there are 3 countries who can give each other pretty high standard competition without the costs of a touring side.
It will be interesting to see how the qualification series for the next WC will be organised. There should be a few extra spots up for grabs, and I can see a few other sides from the pacific like maybe the Cooks and Japan making a 5 team pool playing for 2 spots. It would be nice if Argentina have a side by then too.

| I understand all the qualification games will be available on the USARL website next week. Jacks organised well for Canada last week, he was a handful out of dummy half.
