It takes time to build a league winning team and while I don't particularly like the man myself, if he can build a team that can challenge then great! The more teams we have challenging at the top the better and more exciting the game will be!'"
People didn't expect too much from Koukash, he promised far too much in far too short a time.
He put a lot of people's backs up pretending that he knew best and everyone else were mere amateurs compared to him.
He made poor recruitment decisions.
He treated players and staff like sh|t leading to low morale and poor performances.
He put Salford into a very poor business position through not paying suppliers.
I really, really hope he turns Salford into a major force in RL. The more teams competing at the top the better and a big club in Manchester would be a big bonus to RL.
Hopefully recent history, the comments from many in the game especially McDermott's and the appointment of Tim Sheens means he'll utterly change the way he operates, otherwise nothing will change much.
