But is there actually much if any space for human error in VR decisions?
They can take as long as they want. They get numerous HD, slow mo and super zoom video angles. They aren't fatigued.
They shouldn't get it wrong. Of course there are times when the ball can't be seen, which I think most reasonable agree then they have to take a "best guess". This, and the vast majority of controversial VR decisions aren't one of those situations though.
The Video Ref principle is a fantastic development in the game. It's just being terribly used by the sport.
