Alternatively that 2014 shirt was the 2003 Hull FC one with a Widnes badge stitched over it.

Widnes kit surely, if so not bad, but not a hull kit.

Why is it a Widnes kit?

We've had a black V on a white shirt occasionally in the past. 1959 Challenge Cup Final, 1969 Yorkshire Cup Final, as an away shirt in the early 1980s, home shirt in 2003. What's Widnes' history of the V? Do they own the copyright?

Mainly white shirt with black shorts, looks more like a Widnes kit.
