You play the best players available surely.

Bateman and Walmsley will be certainly in the 17 anyway imo.Walmsley without doubt.Might just be a little soon for Currie but he could be in the squad.

If Watkins/Hardaker pull out as somebody mentioned earlier I wouldn't be surprised to see Currie in to cover back row and centre.

Without Reed and Watkins we'd be looking at Percival and Shenton in the centres I'd have thought (although I'd pick Percival and Bateman).

If Hardaker is fit and available it wouldn't surprise me to see him play centre now with all these injuries.Not the way i would go but could see it happening

Age doesn't matter. He's only too old when he retires through being too old to play anymore or retires from international rugby.

Walmsley and Bateman will be in the squad and would be in my starting 13 with Cuthbertson
