Chief Execs are responsible for setting the culture of an organisation. Under Wilkinson, Salford were a club very rarely in the headlines for the wrong reasons. Under Koukash, those are the only headlines they ever get. If he's not shoving coaches out the door under the pretense of them being "ill", he's lashing out at anyone within the game who suggests he might need to get a grip of the situation. His man management and leadership qualities appear to be (from the outside, anyway) appalling, which makes you wonder how he managed to make his money in the first place.

Just to put a few people back in their box, this suspension was at the recommendation of Tim Sheens. Chase is Marwan's golden boy, who can do no wrong and is absolutely gutted he isn't available for selection this weekend. I'm just glad we've got a strong character as Sheens at the club laying the law down to any player who doesn't adhere to club instructions.

If you want to go on the p*ss during your time-off (following am embarrassing performance at Bradford I might add) then fine, but when you don't turn up for training because of it then you deserve to be suspended.

I have been critical of the manner by which the club have handled themselves at times this season with regards to Hock, Puletua, Locke and Fages but this time they have my full support. It's all been done swiftly with as much professionalism as possible.
