| The Middle 8s has needed a win like that for a championship club. Rightly so, everyone expected it from leigh but that has not happened yet.
Last week you'd have said Bradford were well off pace. Can't say that now.

| I'm still a bit shellshocked at not only today's result, but the performance in general. And I'm a Bulls fan.
And this was without our star man Lee Gaskell as well, with Jake Mullaney having a stormer before he went off injured after about 50 mins.
Hard to say what went wrong with Salford. They were certainly trying for the best part of an hour, but nothing seemed to come off for them today.
Our next game at home to Widnes is absolutely huge now. Win that game and the rest of the 8s could be complete chaos.

| A great result for Bradford and a much needed boost for all the championship sides. I think the table is probably slightly skewed at the moment as Leigh have started out their campaign against SL teams.

| Certainly didn't expect us to put in a performance as good as that today, especially after how bad we were against Wakefield.
It's reminded the SL teams that the Championship teams are no pushovers, as I think Salford probably took us a bit lightly today.

| The scoreline flatters Salford. Bradford utterly dominated them. Some of Bradfords play was simply a joy to watch and I hope they get promoted. Im a saints fan and dont really know many of their players but I went to watch and thought the likes of Danny Addy, the fullback and their 13 wouldnt look out of place in a good super league team

King James

| Really put a spanner in the works this result. Just took the current league table and predicted the remaining fixtures and came out with HKR on 12 points and Wak on 10 points, Widnes on 9, with Salford at home to Bradford in playoff final. What a game that would be!
Surprised myself with this but think Wakey have favourable fixtures with having HKR after cup final and Widnes at home. The games between Bradford, Widnes and Leigh are gonna be the most critical IMO.
If you're interested I had Bradford and Widnes drawing, Leigh beating Bradford and Widnes beating Leigh

Everyone keeps saying Wakefield got a favourable draw playing us after the cup final but surely Widnes had the better deal playing us the week before when we rested half our team and played them at there place and we still won

| I thought Fax may have had a big say in forthcoming events however, today's loss could have ripped the guts out of their campaign.
After last week’s capitulation from Bradford, maybe Salford thought they just had to turn up, when in reality Bradford are so much better than what they served up last week.
The general consensus appeared to be the play-off game would be contested by Bradford / Leigh / Wakefield but now there’s a couple of additional S.L clubs feeling a little twitchy.
Super 8’s is so predictable, the middle eight’s is the place to be, the quality may be down, but the excitement is far greater.

| I just think that with all wakefields new players the 2 weeks off will allow them to get a cohesive team structure together. With today's win its very likely you'll be in the top 3 regardless of what happens in that match hence why I wouldn't be surprised to see your boys have an off week after (rightly) all your focus being on the cup final . If you win it though it would put Wakefield right back in the mix!
You're right though, I wouldn't have had you winning today but having watched the game online your defence was phenomenal - if you'd defended like that all season you'd currently be sat in the top 4!
