Similar thoughts, but perhaps say that referees are getting weaker and weaker whilst the players are getting stronger and stronger trying to "work and play" the referee.
Too much pressure these days from players, the ruck area is a mess, no respect on 50/50 calls. Perhaps we should have a "
ZERO TOLERANCE OFFICIATING WEEKEND" where the refs blow the whistle with every offside, forward looking pass, interference, incorrect scrum down, talk back etc, we would probably get between 30 to 40 penalties a game, then we can start moaning that the game is not allowed to flow.
