| Needs a big graphics/UI overhaul for next year but the rest of the game is pretty damn good to be fair.

| Pretty good game to be fair, and the match engine is brilliant. Feel like it could have more depth outside of the match stuff though (in fairness, more features like the academy come available as you move up the ranks, and I'm only just starting League 1 now). Graphics need improvement too. Still pretty fun however, not sure it's worth £25 though. I'd give it a 7/10

| Hi all. I've been reading these boards for a long time now but never posted before.
I pre-ordered the game on Amazon and have had it for a couple of weeks. Having played Football Manager for years I've been waiting for a decent RL version to come out for a long time.
Overall it looks and plays similar to where football manager was 10 years ago. The graphics and general smoothness of the game play are quite poor and old fashioned. However I'd assume it had to be made on a low budget so that is understandable.
I have a few gripes. The sophistication of contract negotiations and buying/selling of players needs to be looked at. It's far too simplistic. I find it frustrating that the alliance and academy results are included in the overall win percentage which is a board requirement. The games developers also seem to have thrown in a 'war of the roses' series and an exiles game which are not in the RL calendar.
Overall the game certainly has potential and plays quite well. A lot of good things, a lot of room for improvement. If the RL world get behind it and buy themselves a copy future versions will hopefully have a bigger budget and be able to offer more.

| It used to be free until this version. Don't get me wrong there is a lot of effort that has gone into it and its previous iterations but I agree with Saint #1, this is a solid £10 game not £25/30 as being currently priced.

| I am really enjoying the game, once you get over the relatively poor graphics, there is a real beast of a game in the belly of this bad boy. It is very in depth and highly addictive. I do think it is worth the money ( I bought from Amazon where it is £22). I am guessing with Rugby League being a small sport, they would struggle to sell it at any less, and then be able to afford all the licenses, as well as continue work on further versions. It is a great start and about time League had its own management game.
