Wire played ok, Wigan not so good. Week off for teams can potentially damage a team. On the other hand if Wigan turn up, people will just say Wigan had weeks rest and it damaged wire in 2nd half.

How was that not a penalty?

Went to the video ref to see if a player was pulled back but not to see if a player was crushered and punched twice in the face? Awesome.

Warrington have a hand in the way Wigan are playing to be fair even though Wigan have a hand in there too.
It's not the best of games but if Warrington lose there top 8 hopes will take a huge blow. They are playing like a top 4 side though. Just shows how close this league is.

Not enjoying a lot of Sims play and tactics. Didn't see him as a dirty player.

Think this game just sums up the quality of SL this year. I'd argue that Wire and Wigan have played some of the most exciting attacking rugby the past few years but this year they both seem to have gone off the boil.

Grief Wane get's less coherent everytime I hear him speak.

Really? I'd think the last thing Wigan need under their current coach is a "strong referee".....

We battered Wigan physically. They were woeful because they likely wanted to get the ball away as quick as possible as they knew any second they'd be flattened. Wigan appeared very skittish to me. We weren't great with ball in hand, Myler's try was pure luck. But we absolutely dominated a Wigan team that likes to be physically intimidating, and we did it with a patched up side after a 5 day versus 13 day turn around. I think that is where the praise is. The only thing Wigan did right today was Smith's kicking.

Thought it was a good game. The intensity in defence brought about many of the errors from both teams. Exactly the kind of game we want as we want our players to face aggressive defences and learn how to deal with them. Forced both Smith & Myler to kick far better than they have most of the season so far.

I'm sure both sides would rather their attack had been better though.

Thought Warrington beat Wigan at their own game.

Awful game. Wigan are so bad away from the DW.

Has there ever been a worse Wigan pack than this current one?

Tell you what though Wanes dig at the ref was just. He gave nothing today, how it didn't explode is beyond me. So much childish behaviour on show from both sides, Westwood and Sims were funny, both had totally lost it and would have been sent off if Wigan could have mustered any kind of meaningful opposition.

Didn't manage to watch the game, but our away form is worrying to say the least. I really don't understand how a team can be so good playing on one particular field, then dreadful on any other. Our only convincing performances away from the DW have been at the magic and Huddersfield.

We've definitely had worse packs down the years, I think we have a decent pack actually, we showed on good Friday that we can compete with the best and even at Langtree Park I thought we were on top for periods of the game. I wonder if all the uproar from the Ben Flower red card, and the subsequent criticism of Wane after the World Club Challenge film, has taken the sting out of us a little.
