Ignored everything Huddersfield did in the first half and penalised Catalan out of the game then didn't sin bin McGillvary after "tackling" Dureau by the hair. He also didn't order a retake on the kick he missed because Huddersfield weren't behind the line.

Gronk - are you saying the Ref shouldn't have penalised Catalans just to keep the penalty count down ??....as far as i can see, and with ours too, they were all justified !

He was penalising Catalan for things he let Huddersfield get away with (like the dummy half pushing defenders out of the way).

No point being reasonable here though because you'll never think anything other than that farce was fairly officiated.

But doesn't every set of fans complain that happens to them ? Most games you watch a Ref will penalise one team more than an another for the same things. Doesn't make us thugs or anything, we've suffered plenty at the hands of Ref's ourselves. Blame the Ref not our team !

Yes you are different to other teams. Your entire game plan is based around the ruck. It's to slow the opposition's and to get a quick play the ball yourself. That's why you have such a big and effective forward pack.
There's nothing wrong with that approach (personally I'd prefer a more open style but that's personal preference). But that slowing of the play the ball needs to be achieved by putting more men into the tackle rather than through holding down and interference.
At the moment Huddersfield are pushing the line too far with holding down and interference but not getting penalised for it.
