No way it was a red card in my eyes unless you are going to see 3 or 4 reds every weekend. Didn't affect the game as Salford were dreadful in the first 40 however I thought it was a poor call.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the tackle that Ablett has done on Sarginson, and the Griffin red card tackle....Looked very very similar to me !!

Nowhere even close. A stray arm is nowhere near the same as flinging your body forward recklessly, which is what Griffin did.

Surely there's enough to criticise the refs about, like not sending players off for dangerous play, or getting a decision totally back to front, without splitting hairs over this?? It was direct first contact to the head, after all. At the very, very least, it was a yellow, but if it looked bad enough for a red in real-time to JC then you can't really moan.
