So shocking but Sky sports news were a disgrace last night. Broke the news when it was official then carried on with football and then to Tony Rea Super League round up with a word about the sad news.

I thought the same thing. To spend 5 minutes talking about the week's SL games and not to even mention it was a terrible journalistic decision.

I would like to add that he was a cracking little player with a great skills set. Really feel sad as I have 3 young children and I hope all efforts are made so his family are secure for the future.

Rest in peace young man.

Sky can be crass. The BBC meanwhile put a link to a nice tribut on their (main) home page and also reported it on the national TV news along with 5 Live and Radio 4.

RIP Danny from North Wales Crusaders and Welsh rugby league

If anything it should remind us all that, despite being a great sport, Rugby League is still just a game, and there are many things that are more important.

been over to Cougar Park this afternoon, very somber atmosphere (understandably) but the tributes paid to Danny from across the rugby league world have been outstanding.

Very sad news indeed, RIP and our thoughts with his family. Nice to see SL players doing what they can to raise money for the donation page too, Adam Cuthbertson and I believe Kyle Amor too have had their beards removed today.
