Someone on the Leigh Facebook page did a survey asking fans if they wanted Hock at Leigh. At the last count 123 said no, 3 said yes. Somewhat surprising if the Leigh board are so out of touch with what their fanbase wants. In a team that already contains Barlow and Acton, plus a few players that get under opponents' skin, it would be a shame if the RL world in general acknowleged Leigh less for the fantastic, flowing rugby they have often shown over the last year or so than for the more negative and niggling aspects of their play.

I see Marwan has now taken to announcing Leigh's signings for them, loves the limelight that guy.

Cant complain if the club know what they are doing, surely its on a pay as you pay deal with penalties for discipline. Either way I have to respect what Derek is doing and the mentality of Paul Rowley for promoting attractive rugby.

Put yourself in Paul Rowley's shoes, he has just been given the opportunity to coach a world class player on his day, he is probably as excited as the fans but for very different reasons, can he manage Gareth Hock?
